Language Study Trip to Malta for Teenagers (Salina)

Three young students and a teacher

Language Stay Overview

Our language stay packages for young people and teenagers are offered as all-inclusive formulas. These include accommodation in a residence or host family, English courses (15h or 22h30 per week), full board (three meals a day), and a comprehensive activity program during the day and evening. Transportation within the island of Malta as part of the stay is included; air travel, however, remains the responsibility of the parents. Student support begins upon arrival at Malta airport.

The stay takes place in the town of Salina, in partnership with the Salini Resort complex. A strategic location facing the sea, slightly off-center, ensuring a safe environment for young people and teenagers.

To promote the integration of young students, the language stay program for teenagers is divided into two: the Teen Club program, for ages 14 to 17, and the Junior Club program, for ages 9 to 13.

School Overview

Our partner school, the European School of English (ESE Malta), is the ideal school for youth language stays in Malta. The school is a reference in Malta and provides English courses directly at the students’ accommodation site: the Salini Resort, offering a secure setting and limiting travel for students staying in the residence.

English Courses

The English courses for youth language stays are available in two formats: General English, commonly called GE20 (15h per week), and Intensive English, commonly called GE30 (22h30 per week). Courses are held in small groups, with a maximum of 15 students per class.

The teaching method used in both formats is dynamic and interactive, with a focus on practice and speaking participation. This approach allows young students to work on language fundamentals in a fun way and make rapid progress, regardless of their initial level.
