BELS Malta (BELS English Language Schools) is an English language school located in St Paul’s Bay, a lively seaside town in the north of Malta, on the central bus route and a stone’s throw from the sea. This independent, family-run school was founded in 1997 in Gozo, where it still keeps its original school; its main campus is now in St Paul’s Bay, Malta, in a purpose-built modern building that welcomes both adults and juniors. It offers General English, Business English, exam preparation (IELTS, Cambridge, TOEFL) and private tuition, along with young-adult programmes (16-17 and 17-19), teen camps (11-16) and children’s courses (7-15) in summer. Its strong point: families can study at the same time, with parents and children learning in the same building.
The school has 14 spacious, air-conditioned classrooms fitted with interactive whiteboards, an on-site BELS residence, a library, Wi-Fi and a lounge area; the building is wheelchair accessible.
