Language stays in Malta for young people and teenagers are offered as all-inclusive packages. These include accommodation in a residence or with a host family, English classes (15 hours or 22.5 hours per week), full board (three meals per day), as well as a complete activity program including daytime and evening activities.

Student supervision begins as soon as they arrive at Malta Airport. Transportation on the island as part of the stay is included. Air travel, however, remains the responsibility of parents.

The stay takes place in the town of Salina, in partnership with the Salini Resort complex. A strategic seafront location, slightly off-center, guaranteeing a secure environment for young people and teenagers. Classes are held directly in the hotel complex, with 18 classrooms designed to accommodate teenagers. During the summer period, the complex simultaneously hosts nearly 270 international teenagers.

To promote the integration of young students, the program is divided into two groups: the Teen Club program, for young people aged 14 to 17, and the Junior Club program, for young people aged 9 to 13.

Reviews of the Language Stay in Malta for Teenagers

The language stay in partnership with Salini Resort is the best stay option for young people aged 9 to 17 in Malta. Among all the schools and language stays for young people available in Malta, this is the option we recommend for all parents. The very strong point of the stay lies in the setting in which it takes place, that of Salini Resort. An upscale setting, a 4-star hotel with modern and quality infrastructure, but above all a secure and slightly isolated setting. The complex is particularly isolated from Malta's nightlife areas to avoid, like the Paceville area, which are often very easily accessible in the majority of stays for minors. The fact that teachers also travel on site to teach classes is a major asset because it avoids travel for students in residence.

Academically, ESE is one of the best schools in Malta, the classes are dynamic and the teachers highly qualified. The activity program is quite similar to other stays for young people, with the so-called classic excursions of Malta and generally one premium activity per week.

A typical day starts with breakfast in the hotel dining room or with the host family. Students then attend their English classes until 12:15 PM, with a mid-morning break.
